Gm all! I hope you’re having a nice time where you are at the moment. We’re currently on the road, about to start a 18-straight-days of shooting at night with the tubes. This means a lot of new images coming up and of course we’ll share our new tips along the way. You heard it here first: we’re testing a new flashlight with a wireless remote control 😮
1- Sparklers
I just finished writing a blog post about the 6 types of sparklers we’re using: https://lightpaintingtubes.com/news/sparklers
2- NFT_NYC
I’ll be by myself at NFT NYC from April 12 to 14th. I’m not sure about the schedule yet, but let me know if you’re around. We had this piece in display last year at Times Square and I know we’ll have a few surprises this year too ::))
3- From the archives
Tube light-painting photography tutorial: drawing shapes!
4- Great long-exposure art I noticed this week
5- Podcasts
These are a few podcasts I really enjoyed last week. These are not related to photography, but I’m sure you’ll enjoy those (as creators)
Love seeing your work last year at nyc debating on this year. Enjoy the road trip yall. That wireless flashlight sounds super fun
Wow, thanks for the "shaggy dog" feature! Looking forward to seeing what you photograph on your trip with Kim.
